Crunchy Fried Chicken

I love fried chicken who doesn’t.  But I never really make it as I loath the whole egg, flour and crumbs steps, it’s so messy.  My mum solved this problem with this super easy and super delicious recipe. This recipe does however, for best results, require you to marinate chicken for 2 hours (overnight is even better).
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup (250 ml) buttermilk
- 8 to10 drumsticks
- panko breadcrumbs
- 3 tsp ground paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/3 cup (50g) plain flour (or your choice of flour)
- salt & pepper to taste
*you can add tumeric or cumin for extra spice and flavour 


PREP
- marinate drumsticks with buttermilk overnight
- when ready to cook place all remaining ingredients in a large bowl and mix to combine spices
- rub each drumstick in mixture and set aside 
- heat oil in a pan or use deep fryer
- cook until lightly browned and chicken is cooked
- add a side salad and some dipping sauce 
- ENJOY!
